Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every project and service The Elitico provides. Please read them before you pay.

Last updated 23 October 2026

1. Who we are

The Elitico is a sole proprietorship of Muhammad Ahmed Asim Abbasi, based at Soan Garden, Islamabad, Pakistan. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean The Elitico, and “you” and “the client” mean the person or business buying from us.

2. What we provide

We provide web design, WordPress, Shopify and headless Next.js development, UI/UX design and SEO services, listed with prices on our pricing section. Before work starts we send a written scope that states what is included, the price and the timeline. That written scope is what we agree to deliver, and anything outside it is extra work (see section 6).

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in the currency shown on your quote or invoice (PKR, GBP or USD).
  • One-time projects: 50% upfront before we start, and 50% before delivery. We hand over the final site, files and logins only after the balance is paid.
  • Monthly services (SEO plans, website care): paid in full, upfront, for the month ahead. Work for a month starts once that month is paid.
  • Late monthly payment: if a monthly payment has not reached us by its due date, all work and reporting on that service stop until it is paid. The month is not extended to make up for the stopped days.
  • Third-party costs such as domains, hosting and paid plugins are billed at cost, with no markup, and accounts are opened in your name.
  • We accept bank transfer and the local payment methods we list on your invoice. We never ask you to pay into an account that is not shown on your invoice.

4. What we need from you

A project can only start, and only finish on time, when we have everything we need. We start work and the delivery clock starts only when we have received your advance and all the requirements, content, images, logins and approvals we asked for.

  • Send complete, accurate content and requirements, and reply to our questions and approval requests within 3 working days.
  • If requirements are incomplete or change, content or logins arrive late, or feedback is delayed, the delivery date moves by the same amount of time. Missed or moved deadlines caused by this are not our responsibility, and we are not liable for them.
  • If we hear nothing from you for 14 days, we may pause the project. We restart it when you reply, subject to our availability, and the advance already paid stays with the project.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content, product claims, prices and images you give us, and for owning the right to use them.

5. Design approval and revisions

  • We design first. Development starts only after you approve the finished design in writing.
  • Once the design is approved, it is final. We do not change an approved design. Any change after approval is new work and is charged as extra work.
  • Each package includes one revision round at the design stage and one at the build stage. A revision round means one consolidated list of changes sent at once, within the original scope.
  • Work that matches your approved design is not grounds for a refund, because you approved it.

6. Extra work and changes

Anything outside the written scope, extra revision rounds, changes after approval, new pages, new features and rework caused by changed or missing information is extra work. Extra work is charged at $35 per hour (about £27 or PKR 9,800 an hour), always with a written estimate that you approve before we start. We do not do extra work without your approval, and we do not do it for free.

7. Support after launch

Project packages include 30 days of support after launch for bugs in what we built. Support does not cover changes you ask for, content updates, problems caused by edits you or others make, updates to third-party plugins or platforms, hosting problems, or new features. Those are extra work, or covered by a website care plan.

8. Ownership

When you have paid in full, you own the final design and the code we wrote for your project. Until then we keep ownership and we may withhold delivery. Third-party tools, themes and plugins stay under their own licences. We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

9. SEO services

  • SEO takes time and depends on search engines we do not control. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or revenue.
  • You give us access to your website, Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Merchant Center where relevant. Work that needs access we do not have cannot be done, and the month is still charged.
  • We send a written progress report every week covering work completed, findings and next priorities.
  • Results depend on recommendations being applied to the site. If you or your developers do not apply them, we are not responsible for the result.
  • Plans have a 6-month minimum. After that, you can end a plan with 30 days’ written notice. You keep ownership of all your accounts.

10. Third parties and platforms

Hosting, domains, plugins, Shopify, WordPress, Google, payment gateways and marketplaces are run by other companies. We are not responsible for their outages, rule changes, suspensions or penalties, or for losses that follow, including an account suspension caused by your content, products, policies or business practices.

11. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. How and when we deliver is covered in our Service Delivery Policy.

12. Limits on our liability

We take care with every project, but we cannot promise that a site will be free of every error or that it will run without interruption. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service the claim is about. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect loss, or for delays and problems caused by missing, late or incorrect information from you or by third-party services. You are responsible for keeping backups of your site unless a care plan says we do it.

13. Confidentiality and privacy

We keep your project information and logins confidential and use them only to do the work. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Disputes and governing law

If something goes wrong, email us first at hello@theelitico.com and we will work with you to fix it. If we cannot agree, these terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan and the courts of Islamabad have jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A change does not affect a project whose written scope you have already accepted.
